Leaking Battery Advice

At Car Parts 4 Less we supply Car Batteries via Home Delivery and for collection from one of our collection points. 

When car batteries are transported via courier, we make every effort to ensure that the battery cannot be damaged easily, because they contain sulphuric acid which is highly corrosive.

Car Batteries are packaged inside a sealed bag with absorbent matting to mitigate any leakage. This is then inside an outer box to prevent any impact damage.

However, sometimes car batteries can be temporarily inverted during the courier distribution process which is out of our control. This can result in a small amount of leakage of the acid contained in the battery cells.

If you discover your battery is leaking, put it on an outdoor surface. Please do not touch the liquid and contact us by clicking on the speech bubble  in the bottom right hand corner at your earliest convenience for details on how to proceed.
